Samantha Hay:

Yng Ngwanwyn 2017 gwnaeth Samantha ei hymddangosiad cyntaf gydag Opera Canolbarth Cymru fel Brenhines y Nos, gan barhau fel y Dduwies Ceres, yng Nghynhyrchiad arloesol y RSC o The Tempest, sydd wedi ennill canmoliaeth adolygwyr, wrth iddo drosglwyddo i theatr y Barbican yn Llundain o fis Mehefin ymlaen.
Yn 2016, bu i Samantha berfformio rhannau Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni) a’r Priestess (Iphigenie) gyda’r English Touring Opera, ac fel Unawdydd Soprano yn Nhaith Gala Strauss Raymond Gubbay. Mae ei rolau eraill gydag OCC yn cynnwys Zerlina, fersiynau o Musetta (La Boheme), Echo (Ariadne), Karolka (Jenufa), Alice Ford (Falstaff), High Priestess (Aida) ac mae hefyd wedi perfformio rôl caethforwyn (Salome) a’r 2il Aderyn ym mherfformiad cyntaf y byd o ‘The Sacrifice’ gan James Macmillan.
Bu i Samantha astudio canu yn y Coleg Cerdd Brenhinol a Conseratoire Birmingham. Ymysg y gwobrau y mae wedi’u hennill mae The Symphony Hall Recital Competition, Cecil Drew Oratorio Competition, The Reginald Vincent Lieder Prize a The Great Elm Competition.

Only Boys Aloud:

Côr Cymreig yw Only Boys Aloud sy’n cynnwys tua 175 o ddynion ifanc rhwng 14 a 19 mlwydd oed. Cysyniad ydyw o fenter ar y cyd rhwng y grŵp corawl llwyddiannus Only Men Aloud a'r arweinydd adnabyddus, Tim Rhys-Evans. Mae Côr Only Boys Aloud wedi bod yn destun dwy raglen ddogfen ac hefyd wedi ymddangos ar raglen Songs of Praise y BBC, ac mewn nifer fawr o ddigwyddiadau amlwg.
Cafodd Only Boys Aloud ei ffurfio ym mis Mawrth 2010 gan ei dad gôr, Only Men Aloud, i annog dynion ifanc rhwng 14 a 19 mlwydd oed yn Ne Cymru i wneud newidiadau cadarnhaol i’w bywydau.
Yn y ddwy flynedd a hanner ers ei gychwyn, mae Only Boys Aloud (neu OBA, i’w grynhoi!) wedi ennyn diddordeb cannoedd o fechgyn yn eu harddegau mewn canu yn un o allforion cerddorol enwocaf Cymru, sef y Côr Meibion, ac wedi gwneud iddynt deimlo canlyniadau aruthrol hynny, sydd wedi newid eu bywydau. Mae lefelau eu hyder, perfformiad, gallu i ganolbwyntio, sgiliau cymdeithasol, cerddgarwch a’u techneg leisiol oll wedi gwella’n aruthrol o ganlyniad uniongyrchol i’r cynllun, ac mae’r côr a ddatblygodd o ganlyniad i hyn yn un arbennig iawn.
